June brings with it the 4th anniversary of it'seeze York & Harrogate. They say time goes faster as you get older and I've found this to be very true. Becoming self-employed has definitely been a major factor in this. Would I recommend it . . . ?
Over the last four years of self-employment it's been a genuine pleasure to work with other sole traders and SMEs to help them grow and develop their businesses. Hearing the success stories and reading the testimonials is hugely rewarding. There's no greater incentive to make sure our websites are the ideal, cost effective solution for local businesses looking to grow.

I can't guarantee that going down the self-employment route will bring success for everyone, but I'm confident that for those moving out of employment, the job satisfaction will be greater. The working hours may well be longer, but there's the flexibility of managing your own schedule and meetings. Plus, you really get to know a lot of your clients and you're happy to use their services and recommend them, which is always a good feeling.
So would I recommend it . . . yes, and if I can take away the task of a website for a new start-up, allowing anyone moving into self employment to concentrate on the multitude of other things that will occupy their time, then the next four years will fly by too.
