One of the best parts of our job is working with a diverse range of local businesses in and around Yorkshire. Quarter two saw us undertake a range of interesting web design projects for a close protection chauffeur, a racehorse trainer, an estate planning service and a luxury tour operator.

HG Security Chauffeurs Ltd (Max website design package)
HG Security Chauffeurs is a new business start-up based in Harrogate. The owner offers discrete close protection/security services and luxury chauffeuring for high-profile clients. We were tasked with creating a credible, professional and reassuring online presence that helps generate leads from this niche market (wealthy families and anyone needing a driver with an added element of security).
The finished website has a classy (but not snooty!) feel, with a sophisticated colour palette, fonts and other design elements. It conveys the first-class service being offered, while being simple and easy to use.

DJ Jeffreys Ltd (Max website design package)
DJ Jeffreys is a horse training business run by DJ, a racehorse trainer based in Evesham with three Cheltenham winners under his belt. After building a new all-purpose facility with thirty boxes, he decided he needed a website as a reference point for people interested in his services, his racing club and the facilities available.
DJ started off with a Plus website but quickly upgraded to our Max package so he could include a blog. Our design uses traditional racing colours and showcases DJ’s achievements with photographs, clean typography and call-out boxes.

JAM Estate Planning Services (Max website design package)
JAM EPS provides a range of online estate planning services focusing on will writing where people can use the website to complete their wills online at an affordable price. There was already a website in existence for JAM EPS, however, the founder wanted a refresh and to remove the old stock photography, which looked dated.
The new website features a range of modern illustrations supplied by the client, a minimalistic design with lots of white space, and a subtle colour palette. The clear navigation and easy-to-read copy help visitors find and understand the information they need. And there’s a clear call-to-action that encourages conversations with JAM EPS for people who’d rather complete their will over the phone.

Expedition Yorkshire (Max website design package)
This new company offers luxurious guided day tours around magnificent Yorkshire, serving a target market of USA tourists, particularly honeymooners. The Expedition Yorkshire website needed to express the high-end service being offered and encourage people to book a tour online through an integrated booking system.
We used several hero images of the most iconic Yorkshire sights to capture the intrigue of visitors as soon as they land on the homepage. We also peppered testimonials across different pages to reinforce the benefits of booking a tour. Separate graphic elements give prominence to the individual tours, and a call-to-action button appears when hovering over them with the wording ‘BOOK NOW’.
